Khift is proud to support Samaritans and its 24/7 efforts to listen to people who are struggling, for whatever reason. Khift's founder, Tim Taylor, has been a listening volunteer with Samaritans for several years.
Whilst many of these calls are difficult, the act of listening and 'being there' for the callers continues to inspire both him and the 20,000 other volunteers across the country.
Khift provides support by donating a percentage of its profits each year to the Exeter, Mid and East Devon Branch. For more information on Samaritans and the Exeter, Mid and East Devon Branch, please visit their website.

I have worked with Tim [Khift's founder] over the years on a number of successful planning inquiries and other projects. Tim combines being an excellent strategist with being completely on top of all the details. This is rare and impressive. He is a safe pair of hands, very able indeed but also has superabundant good sense and good humour. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who wants a superb planning solicitor to act for them.

We've worked with Tim for over a decade. He helped to save the nightclub through his innovative deed of easement of noise and has always been on-hand to give prompt, helpful and commercial advice, both for the club and as we expanded the business to include our shared workspace offering - The Ministry. He's more than just our planning lawyer - he's a key part of the Ministry team.

I have worked with Tim for many years on varied planning matters including s106 agreements, strategic planning advice and planning appeals on high value matters; where his success rate for us is unblemished, working in very close partnership with leading planning Counsel. Tim is a rare combination of an excellent planning lawyer with impeccable pedigree, strategist and team player who really cares about the result of his work. He is responsive, extremely knowledgeable and stays current with planning law and practice. He is a pleasure to work alongside and integrates into client teams seamlessly. I would have no hesitation recommending him for any planning–related work.

Tim has been extremely helpful to CPRE Somerset, both in representing us in our successful judicial review claim against South Somerset District Council, and in providing legal advice in relation to other planning issues. He has a strong knowledge of the law, and excellent analytical and tactical skills. We have no hesitation in strongly recommending him.

I have had the pleasure of working with Tim for several years on a variety of large-scale development projects. He is methodical, clear and an excellent strategic thinker who can expertly navigate the hard stuff. He communicates his advice clearly, succinctly, and always with a sizeable dollop of good humour. Tim's approachable manner and sharp intellect make him an excellent advocate. He is an impressive operator, a joy to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
